We’ve been thinking a lot about sermons lately. They’re a vital part of the Christian tradition. Chances are if you go to a church, no matter the denomination, you will hear a sermon.

But of course, hearing a sermon, or a homily, requires going to church, and we know that many of our listeners have been hurt by church and might be taking a break, or might have left entirely. So, we thought we would try an experiment: homilies for the openly deconstructing.

We’ll be doing these once a week for the folks in our Patreon community, which you can join by going to www.patreon.com/thanksbetopod
